This fast track course is designed to train students to become job ready in just over 15 weeks.

| Duration: | 15 weeks (12 weeks of face-to-face theory + 3 weeks workplace training) |
| Total Fee: | $2,950 (5 instalments of $590) |
| Resource Fee: | $200 (Includes uniform, course materials, name badge, consumables for practical training, and excursions). |
| Application Fee: | $200 (Non-refundable, for domestic students) |
| Minimum Deposit: | $990 to secure the student place (limited places available, apply as early as possible) |
Who Can Apply?
- Other temporary visa holders with no study restrictions such as 485 or on bridging visa
- Australian Permanent residents and citizens
- Working Holiday Visa or Work and Holiday Visa (study entitlement is 17 weeks)
- Dependents of Student Visa holders
- International students studying as a concurrent course (after completing at least 6 months of the principal course), you must maintain enrolment and course progress for both courses as a concurrent CoE will be issued to you.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are an international student and require a CoE (Confirmation of Enrolment) to apply for a student visa to study, the above fees and course duration does not apply to you. Please let our admissions team know that you need a CoE to apply for a new student visa.
Training / Study
Compulsory Face to face training: 3 full days per week (face to face theory and practical training) Wednesday, Thursday, Friday- 9am to 4pm.
Self-paced home study: Due to intensive study schedule, students are expected to at least allocated one full day to go through course materials, pre-reading and complete assessments online at their own time.
Workplace training: 3 weeks (120 hours) full time work placement in aged care facilities will be arranged by APSI. Workplace training will be conducted after successful completion of all theory and practical training and reach competency at satisfactory level.
- Work Placement time is Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm (note: these hours are determined by the workplace and cannot be changed)

Entry Requirements
- Upper Intermediate level of English
- Strong digital computing skills with your own laptop/tablet to complete all assessments online.
- LLN (Language, Literacy, and Numeracy) competency. Applicant may be required to completed an LLN test as part of pre-enrolment procedure.
Please note you are required to obtain a police clearance, COVID vaccine certificate and Flu vaccine certificate before you can start work placement in aged care facilities.

Further information will be provided during compulsory new student orientation.
All assessments will be completed through our online e-learning portal, requiring a high level of English proficiency and digital skills.
